Park Terrace Assisted Living Grand Opening & Carl Lindberg Ministry Center Dedication

The community of Buffalo, Minn., gathered together on Sunday, October 28, 2007 to celebrate the grand opening of the much anticipated Park Terrace Assisted Living and Memory Care, Buffalo Adult Day Center and the Carl Lindberg Ministry Center. Guests enjoyed a special dedication service held in honor of the new facilities that will expand the ministry of Elim Care to seniors in the community. Throughout the afternoon those in attendance had the opportunity to tour the new facilities and enjoy live music performed by various local musicians.

Two special guests celebrating the day with Elim were Don and Marge Sveen of Wheaton, IL. Marge’s late father, Carl Lindberg, was influential in establishing the Evangelical Free Church Camp in 1914, upon which Park Terrace and the ministry center are now located. The ministry center, named in honor of Lindberg, commemorates his notable work in Buffalo.

The new facilities are located on the campus of Park View Care Center in Buffalo. For more information about the new services, please contact Jill Pingel, housing director at Park Terrace, or Mary Rodeski, Buffalo Adult Day Center director, at 763-684-4866.
