May 7, 2008 (Wednesday) - Park View Care Center’s Tuscany Salad Luncheon

Come and join Park View Care Center for the 7th Annual Salad Luncheon on Wednesday, May 7th! This year’s Tuscany-themed luncheon will feature wonderful culinary creations by Park View’s staff, volunteers and family members. Park View’s dietary manager will also serve his famous Cheddar Biscuits that you won’t want to miss! This year’s luncheon will be held from 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. in the new Ministry Center. Tours of Park Terrace Assisted Living and Adult Day Center will be offered before and after the luncheon. Tickets are $6.00 per person and proceeds will be used to purchase serving equipment and linens for special events. Mark your calendar, invite a friend or co-worker and join us for a lunch in Tuscany!  If you have questions or would like to donate a salad please call  Laura Jones at 763-951-7855.

May 9, 2008 (Friday) - Fargo Elim Rehab and Care Center Spring Event
Step into spring with Elim Rehab and Care Center in Fargo! Fragrant blooms and bursting blossoms will set the stage for Elim’s annual Spring Event taking place on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Bethel Church in Fargo. Guests will be treated to a garden of colorful flowers and plants available for purchase in addition to a wonderful dinner, silent auction and program. Festivities begin with a social hour and opening of the silent auction at 5:45 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. Come and learn more about the exciting changes taking place at Elim Rehab and Care Center, all while enjoying a wonderful evening out!  All proceeds raised at the Spring Event will benefit Fargo Elim Rehab and Care Center. May 22, 2008 (Thursday) - Grandma's House Mpls. Spring Event
It’s a party at Grandma’s House! Come on over to Grandma’s House Childcare at Redeemer Health and Rehab on Thursday, May 22, 2008 for the annual Family Walk of Fun! Kids of all ages will have a fantastic time enjoying a family walk around the neighborhood, playing a variety of games, jumping on the moonwalk and enjoying a tasty barbecue dinner. A silent auction full of fantastic items will also be available for all the grown-ups who are still kids at heart. This year Grandma’s House is looking to raise $6,000 to help support the Playground Pals program, so come out and help us to reach our goal! More information will be posted in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
May 24, 2008 (Saturday) - Elim Night at the Saints
Fun is GOOD! You are guaranteed to have loads of fun with the St. Paul Saints during the upcoming Elim Night at the Saints, so mark your calendars! On Saturday, May 24, 2008, Elim Care will be the featured nonprofit organization of the night as the St. Paul Saints take on the Fort Worth Cats. As the nonprofit of the night, Elim Care will receive a portion of the proceeds from each ticket package purchased by each Elim fan! Ticket packages are $16 and include a general admission ticket, a hot dog, soda and a Saints cap--a $23 value! To register for Elim Night at the Saints, go to www.saintsgroups.com and enter the password “elim” to purchase and print your tickets. Please enter the name of the Elim Care facility you would like to support in the “Company/Group” box on the registration site. Tickets can also be ordered via mail (click here for mail in order form) and picked up at will call the night of the game. June 6, 2008 (Friday) - Milaca Golf Classic
Come out and help Milaca Elim Care and Rehab raise funds for a new resident bus! All proceeds generated from the 2008 Milaca Golf Classic will be directed towards the purchase of a new, fully accessible bus for resident outings. Join us at the Milaca Golf Club on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. (registration at Noon) for our annual best-ball scramble. Great prizes and fun contests await golfers on each hole, so be prepared for a fun time out on the course! The standard registration fee is $65; for Milaca Golf Club members, the registration fee is $50. Twenty dollars of each registration is tax deductible.  A picnic dinner and short awards ceremony will complete the evening. To register, click here. Elim Care facilities are awarded $31,000 to go "high-tech"
Two of Elim Care’s skilled nursing facilities—Redeemer Health and Rehab Center in Minneapolis and Elim Care and Rehab Center in Milaca - received $31,000 in funding from the Minnesota Department of Health’s Nursing Home Technology Pilot Grant Program.

The community of Buffalo, Minn., gathered together on Sunday, October 28, 2007 to celebrate the grand opening of the much anticipated Park Terrace Assisted Living and Memory Care, Buffalo Adult Day Center and the Carl Lindberg Ministry Center.
