Elim Home Milaca is a 103 bed Skilled Nursing facility. Their experienced staff provide the highest degree of professional care and encourage each resident to live as independently as possible with dignity.

Rehabilitative Therapies

Occupational, physical, and speech therapies strive to improve or maintain our residents’ functional ability. Success is measured in two ways:

• Long-term residents are able to maintain their independence and dignity longer.
• Short-term residents are rehabilitated to a level which allows them to return home.

Therapeutic Recreation

Through a wide variety of activities, the recreation program provides an environment which supports the resident’s life style and assists in maintaining the optimum levels of independence, adding diversion to the resident’s daily routine. Community and in-house participation in Elim Home’s recreation program provides fun, stimulation, a sense of well-being, and keeps residents functioning at the highest physical, cognitive, emotional and social level possible.

Spiritual Services

Our chaplain, along with specially trained Stephen Ministers, provide a program of loving spiritual care to our residents, their families, and Elim Care staff, striving always to practice our mission of "serving in the spirit of Christ’s love."

Special Care Unit

Designed to enable residents to maintain their highest functional level in a safe, non-threatening environment. Elim is privileged to have dedicated, highly trained staff to meet the needs of this very special group of people.

• 26-bed unit for Alzheimer/Dementia residents
• Therapeutic Recreation for 7 days per week
