Partner with New Harmony and Linder’s Garden Center This Spring!

The sun is shining and the grass is a beautiful shade of green, which means the spring planting season is just around the corner. And with spring planting, comes spring shopping. With spring shopping, comes a trip to a greenhouse and New Harmony has a sweet deal for you!

From May 11^th – 14^th (Mother’s Day weekend), all purchases made at Linder’s Garden Center or any of their 50+ Flower Mart locations will benefit the New Harmony Family and Friends Group. By using the coupon (link below), 15% of your pre-tax purchase will donated back to the Family and Friends Group as they raise money to purchase items that will benefit the residents. The group is currently raising money to purchase an awning for the porch so that the residents may sit in the shade during the summer months.

Ice Cream Social at New Harmony

You are invited to join us on February 26 at 2:00 for a chapel service that is sponsored by First Evangelical Free Church. Following the chapel service at about 2:30 pm will be a wonderful ice cream social. This is a wonderful time to visit residents and enjoy a treat!

Following the ice cream social we welcome you to stay for a short program: “Advocating for your loved ones” presented by Janine McQuillan, the Council Services Director from The Elder Care Alliance.

Hospice Presentation at New Harmony Care Center

Have you ever wondered how hospice works in a long-term care facility? You are invited to a presentation by the Healtheast Hospice Care Team at the New Harmony Care Center in St. Paul on Wednesday, February 8th at 1:30 pm. You will receive information about hospice care from an admissions nurse, social worker and chaplain. Bring your hospice related questions to this meeting that is sponsored by New Harmony’s Friends and Family Group.
