FAQ’s
What are your hours?
We are open from 6:45 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday 12 months a year. We are closed for holidays and one or two staff development days. We follow Fargo Public Schools for all weather related closings.
What are the ages of the children you accept?
We take children age 2 through preschool. We also take Kindergarten through second grade for our summer Adventure Kids session.
What are the tuition fees?
Tuition varies according to the age of the child being enrolled. Please call (701)271-1810 or email the director at llempe@elimcare.org for more information on rates.
Can my child attend Elim Children’s Center (ECC) part time?
We offer part time schedules to those families that can match with other part time schedules. Please check with the center director for availability.
Can I leave my child at ECC for the entire time the center is open?
No, your child can only attend up to 10 hours a day. It is our philosophy that a longer day would be too difficult for a young child.
Do I have to have a set time for drop off and pick up?
Yes. In order to maintain ratios and consistency throughout the day, we ask that you adhere to the same pick up and drop off times daily. You are more than welcome to drop your child off any time after your scheduled drop off time and pick your child up any time before his/her scheduled pick up time. We understand that things come up from time to time. If this is the case, please contact your child’s teacher. If there is no arrangement made for early drop off or late pick up, you will be charged a fee.
Does ECC offer a preschool program?
Yes, we offer a morning preschool program from 9:00 to 11:30 am Monday through Friday. Parents can choose full-time or part-time. There is no additional fee for our preschool program. The fee is included in the monthly rate.
Does ECC follow a specific curriculum?
Yes, all of the classrooms use Innovations – the Comprehensive Toddler and Preschool curriculum. This incorporates the classroom environment and play into what the children are learning. We also use Handwriting without Tears as well as a Bible story curriculum.
What makes the teachers qualified to care for and teach my child?
All of our teachers have child development or education degrees, as well as many years of experience working with young children in early childhood settings. All employees have undergone a thorough interview and orientation process, including background checks and reference checks.
