Assisted Living
Sixty-six apartments within Cornerstone Assisted Living are available for seniors who are in need of some assistance with their daily routines. Common areas include an intimate parlor warmed by a cozy fireplace, a sun-drenched solarium, a chapel, a library, a private dining room, and a guest suite for visiting families or friends. A full-time chaplain attends to the spiritual needs of residents. Therapy services, an in-house beauty salon, and massage therapy are available to help residents feel and look their best.
Cornerstone Assisted Living offers a choice of studio and one-and two-bedroom apartment homes that residents furnish with their own personal belongings. All utility services except telephone are included in the monthly rent, as are weekly housekeeping and linen services and three daily restaurant-style meals. Residents enjoy delectable food in a well-appointed dining room that overlooks the wetlands, with background music provided by a baby grand player piano.
Cornerstone Assisted Living offers a comprehensive list of services—which can include help with such things as medication management, bathing, mobility assistance, and continence management—that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident. A personal pendant call system provides the comfort of knowing that help is available from on-site staff 24 hours a day. Cornerstone also offers home health services and adult day care for members of the entire Cornerstone community.
Memory Care
Cornerstone Memory Care is a secure, 18-unit neighborhood for those residents dealing with memory loss. The studio and one-bedroom apartments are designed with easy access to shared common areas. This supportive and secure environment encourages residents to participate in their daily routines in a home-like setting. The professionally trained staff works closely with each resident, developing personalized programming that promotes independence and self-esteem.
