Groundbreaking for the New Baptist Home
The Baptist Home broke ground for a new $25 million facility in northeast Bismarck on June 26, 2012. Footings are being poured as construction begins on the 140-resident facility which is scheduled to be ready in the fall of 2013. The new building will feature 108 single rooms and 16 shared rooms, as well as a 24-bed short-term rehab care unit with a state-of-the-art therapy suite for people making the transition from hospital to home. A new memory care unit will feature an enclosed outdoor courtyard.
A beautiful new chapel will be built as a result of
the Building on a Legacy capital campaign. For more information on the Building on a Legacy campaign, click here. If you would like to donate toward this project, click here.
The Baptist Home in Bismarck, ND has been a ministry of Elim Care since a 2009 partnership which furthers the evangelical, faith-based mission of providing excellent senior housing and healthcare services shared by both organizations.
“Building on a Legacy” is off to a great start!
Our capital campaign, “Building on a Legacy,” is off to a great start. In October we reached a major milestone—25% of the way to our goal of $500,000 for the chapel in our new facility!
Praise the Lord for the blessings He is showering on the Baptist Home and how He is working in individuals’ lives for His ultimate glory! What a blessing it is for us who get to watch from the sidelines as He is at work. What a God we have—there truly is no other god like Him!
